About the Role
Our client is seeking a diligent and qualified Electrical Project Engineer to manage and execute electrical projects within the energy sector in East London . This role involves overseeing projects from conception through to completion, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the required technical specifications. You will coordinate with internal teams, contractors, and suppliers, manage project documentation, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. This hybrid role offers a blend of site-based and office-based work, providing a comprehensive project management experience in a key developmental region.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the planning, execution, and delivery of electrical engineering projects.
- Develop project scope, budgets, timelines, and resource requirements.
- Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure all projects comply with safety regulations, quality standards, and environmental requirements.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Prepare project reports, documentation, and conduct project close-out activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project engineering or project management, preferably in the energy or construction industry.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, power distribution, and project management methodologies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in project management software is advantageous.
