Maison Sport is aiming to become the largest snow sports provider in the world and the numbers back it up: growth has averaged more than 30% a year for the last decade. You’d be joining a team of people who genuinely love skiing and snowboarding, working at the forefront of tech in an industry that’s historically been slow to catch up.
The culture is ambitious and holds people to a high standard, but it runs on trust: flexible working and you’re judged on what you deliver, not hours at a desk. We also take time off the mountain seriously, with a minimum of three company-wide off-sites a year, proper trips to country houses across the UK where the whole team gets together.
We’re looking for a Product Manager to focus on optimising our conversion rate on our landing pages and core user journeys across our three brands, from first click through to booking.
This is a hands-on, building role: you design and prototype in code, using AI coding assistants, working alongside our engineers rather than only directing them.
A strong understanding of UI and UX design is essential: using A/B testing, data analysis and strategic insight from our Head of Product, you’ll be making judgement calls on layout, flow and ultimately making changes to our platform that will improve user experience and conversion, not simply handing requirements to someone else to design and build.
We’re looking for someone who is comfortable working with AI coding tools — you don’t necessarily need a strong technical background, as you’ll be assisted by our engineers, but you will need a strong attention to detail and an analytical approach to design. The right candidate will be constantly looking for ‘what’s next’, a landing page or user journey is never done or fully optimised, you’ll need to be able to relentlessly pursue change and improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Landing pages and conversion: Using our brand guidelines to optimise and build new landing pages across all three brands, testing structure, copy and layout against booking conversion rates.
- Core user journeys: Use existing and build on strategic insights to map and improve the end-to-end user journey from discovery to booking, finding friction points and prioritising fixes by commercial impact.
- Building, not just briefing: Use AI coding tools to build directly in the codebase alongside engineering, rather than only writing specs or handing over Figma files.
- UI/UX design: Set the standard for layout, flow and visual design on customer-facing pages, working with the design team to build on what we currently have.
- Experimentation: Run a structured testing programme on landing pages and journeys, with a clear read on statistical significance before rolling out to the full userbase.
- Roadmap and prioritisation: A pragmatic approach for balancing quick wins against structural fixes and defending priorities with data.
Measurement & forecasting
Track conversion rate, drop-off and booking value by page and journey step. Work with our Data Analyst and Head of Product on the reporting that underpins it and build forecasts that tie changes to booking volume and revenue.
AI & tooling
We expect this role to be built around AI coding assistants from day one. You’ll use Claude Code, or an equivalent, to prototype, build and ship landing page and journey changes directly, not just to speed up writing briefs. Bring the same instinct to testing and analysis, automating what can be automated.
Requirements
- Demonstrable experience using AI coding tools, ideally with a focus on conversion, growth or landing page optimisation.
- A strong eye for UI/UX design, comfortable making layout and flow decisions yourself rather than only briefing a designer.
- Working knowledge of A/B testing and experimentation platforms and the statistics to read results correctly.
- Comfortable in analytics tooling (GA4 or equivalent) to find where journeys break down.
- Multi-brand experience, or the ability to prioritise across competing brand needs, a strong plus.
- Self-directed and commercially minded, able to build a clear thesis for what to build next and why.
Other Requirements
How success is measured
Booking conversion rate across landing pages by brand, drop-off at each stage of the core user journeys, the number and quality of experiments shipped (not just run), and the share of changes built directly by this role versus handed to engineering.
Day-to-day responsibility for improving landing pages and user journeys sits with this role – significant scope or resourcing changes are agreed with the Head of Product – it’s your responsibility to bring a clear, evidence-based case when you want to reprioritise or reallocate build time, the strategic case is yours to make.
