We are now looking for a Site Supervisor to join us on the Thames Water contract based out of Dartford. This is a fantastic opportunity to supervise works and a small team specifically for the installation works of Smart Metering boxes including civils works. This is a SITE BASED role across the Dartford area – you must have a full UK driving license and be comfortable to travel.Where will you be working?

This Site Supervisor role is based within our ” demand management and network infrastructure team”. We look after and maintain 60 million smart meters and our teams provide advanced metering solutions to help manage demand for essential suppliers.

What will you be doing?

As our Site

Supervisor, you’ll be working

on the Thames

Water

contract based out of Dartford.

You’ll

be part of our Smart Metering team who are responsible for the external installations of Smart Meter boxes / systems, larger smart metering chambers and the repair of customer side leaks.

Management / Supervision of Civils Dig Teams, Reinstatement

Teams

and relevant support teams

Collaborate with relevant departments such as: Planning,

SHEQ

, Surveying,

Streetworks

, Customer Call centre etc

Attend weekly progress meetings with t

Offer onsite coaching with regards to Excavating, Reinstatement in the Highway and use of Cable Avoidance equipment

Talks and complete mandatory audits

briefs on new works

Coach, review video risk assessments and permits to break ground from the site teams

Promote a zero-incident environment via Golden Rules & CLAMP ON

What you’ll bring

NRSWA (Supervisor level) ticket

SMSTS / SSSTS (highly desirable)

EUSR Water Hygiene (Desirable)

EUSR SHEA Water (Desirable)

Abrasive Wheels (Desirable)

Good IT Skills

Good knowledge or understanding of HSG47

Proven experience in the water industry and excavation works on Highways

Reinstatement experience

Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Additional Information:

You must

possess

a high degree of manual dexterity

demonstrated

through the use of

hand tools.

You will

be required

to work outdoors in all weathers and be

required

to walk and stand on uneven ground.

You must also be able to work within a confined space, without restriction

.

You must hold a full UK driver’s license to be able to attend all site across London & Thames Valley areas
