Job Description:

  • Directly manage a dedicated portfolio of residential properties across the North of England, ensuring buildings are compliant with relevant Health and Safety, Fire Safety and Building Safety legislations, well maintained and operated effectively.
  • Take personal responsibility for statutory compliance, planned and reactive maintenance, building performance, contractors, lifecycle planning, budgets and customer outcomes.
  • Lead a small FM team and ensure equivalent standards across their allocated properties.
  • Support and train onsite teams and directly deliver building-specific resident engagement where required.
  • Support the Head of Facilities Management and Building Safety in delivering a consistent service aligned with Grainger’s values.
  • Set and maintain high standards for facilities, health, safety and environmental management across the dedicated portfolio and team-managed properties.
  • Take direct responsibility for statutory maintenance, PPM, reactive maintenance and compliance actions, ensuring timely, evidenced completion.
  • Ensure team members deliver equivalent standards through clear objectives, review, challenge and assurance.
  • Undertake weekly visits to each directly managed estate/property to review compliance, building condition, records, service delivery and actions.
  • Undertake quarterly assurance visits to estates/properties managed by team members.
