About the Role
As a Property Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of a diverse portfolio of residential properties. You will act as the main point of contact for landlords and tenants, overseeing the day-to-day management and maintenance of properties while ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of residential properties, providing exceptional service to landlords and tenants.
- Coordinate property maintenance and repairs, liaising with contractors and ensuring timely resolution of issues.
- Conduct regular property inspections and provide detailed reports to landlords.
- Handle tenancy renewals, rent reviews, and deposit releases.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, including gas safety, electrical checks, and other certifications.
- Respond promptly to tenant queries and complaints, resolving issues efficiently and professionally.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation, including tenancy agreements and inspection reports.
- Build strong relationships with landlords, tenants, and contractors to ensure a seamless management process.
Requirements
- Previous experience in property management, ideally in a residential setting.
- Knowledge of property legislation and regulations in the UK.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and tenants.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Proficient in property management software and Microsoft Office applications.
- A proactive and problem-solving mindset, with attention to detail.
- A valid UK driver’s license is desirable but not essential.
- Right to work in the UK.
