Graduate Laboratory Technician

Location: Daventry (Site based role)Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Role Responsibilities

• Carry out quality control testing and chemical analysis across a range of water treatment and chemical products, accurately recording and reporting results.
• Support technical investigations into product performance, helping to troubleshoot issues and identify appropriate solutions.
• Contribute to research, development and continuous improvement projects within the laboratory and wider technical team.
• Prepare technical reports, maintain accurate laboratory records and support the calibration, verification and maintenance of laboratory equipment.
• Manage a varied workload while maintaining high standards of quality, accuracy, health and safety, and compliance with laboratory procedures.

What We’re Looking For

• A degree in Chemistry
• Strong attention to detail with a methodical and accurate approach to laboratory work, documentation and record keeping.
• A proactive attitude, enthusiasm for learning and the ability to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities.
• Good written and verbal communication skills, with confidence using Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word and Outlook.
• An understanding of laboratory health and safety practices and a commitment to maintaining high quality and safety standards.
• Full UK Driving License is highly desirable due to the location of the site
