Wash Plant Machine Operative / FLT Driver

HRGO Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a well-established industrial and recycling company for a full-time Wash Plant Machine Operative / FLT Driver. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous experience working within a recycling, manufacturing, waste management or similar industrial environment. Applicants with experience operating machinery and a valid FLT licence are encouraged to apply.

• Operate and monitor wash plant machinery safely and efficiently
• Load and move materials using a forklift truck
• Set up and operate equipment in line with company procedures
• Monitor the wash plant throughout the production process
• Ensure materials are processed safely and efficiently
• Carry out routine checks on machinery and equipment
• Report equipment faults and maintenance issues
• Keep the working area clean and organised
• Follow all health, safety and environmental procedures
• Complete relevant production and operational paperwork
• Work as part of the production team
• Report any issues to the relevant supervisor or manager

About You:

• Valid FLT licence is essential
• Previous experience operating industrial machinery is desirable
• Experience within recycling, manufacturing, waste management or a similar industrial environment is preferred
• Good understanding of safe working practices within an industrial environment
• Comfortable working both day and night shifts
• Reliable, hardworking and willing to learn
• Able to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
• Physically fit and comfortable working in an industrial environment
