As our HR Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting the employee lifecycle, ensuring HR processes run smoothly and employees receive a professional and responsive HR service.

Location: Head office at Foundation House – Hedge End (Southampton).

  • Coordinate recruitment and onboarding activities, including interview scheduling, candidate communications, pre-employment checks and new starter administration.
  • Prepare employment contracts, offer letters and employee correspondence.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and HR system data.
  • Support the administration of probation reviews, performance processes, training activities and employee development initiatives.
  • Process employee lifecycle changes, including salary amendments, promotions, transfers and family-friendly arrangements.
  • Record and monitor absence and leave information in line with company procedures.
  • Provide administrative support for employee relations matters and HR processes.
  • Coordinate employee offboarding activities, including exit documentation and payroll notifications.
  • Produce HR reports and ensure the accuracy and integrity of employee data.
  • Support compliance with company policies, data protection requirements and UK employment legislation.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR processes and employee experience.

Qualifications

  • Experience in HR administration, people coordination or a similar administrative role.
  • Understanding of employee lifecycle processes and HR administration practices.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to handle confidential and sensitive information professionally.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office applications and HR systems or databases.
  • Experience supporting recruitment administration, employee records, payroll inputs or benefits administration.
  • Knowledge of UK employment law and data protection principles.
  • A proactive, flexible and customer-focused approach to work.

Educational Requirements

  • CIPD Level 3 qualification or willingness to work towards a professional HR qualification.
  • Experience in HR administration or people coordination.
