Role Description
We’re looking for an Art Department Assistant to support the Head of the Art Department on a part-time basis (2 days a week). This is a hands-on assisting role, ideal for someone proactive, meticulous, organised, and comfortable working independently to meet deadlines.
Day-to-day, you’ll be reaching out to clients to gather content, processing and organising images, and archiving them accurately. You’ll also help build artist portfolios and creative decks, maintain visual consistency across the agency’s artist-facing and client-facing materials, and update the website.
Skills and Experience Required
Qualifications
- Proactive, with the ability to consistently meet deadlines
- Highly organised and meticulous, with strong attention to detail
- A self-starter, comfortable working independently and managing your own workload
- Experience or interest in image archiving and managing large volumes of visual assets
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop) or equivalent design tools
- Experience using Premiere Pro to edit short-form video content (e.g. Instagram reels) is a bonus, not required
- A background or interest in fashion, beauty, or luxury sectors is a plus
- Comfortable working within a small, close-knit team and liaising with artists and contacts
- Relevant education in graphic design, visual communication, or equivalent practical experience, or comparable practical experience
