Technical Sourcing Assistant Buyer

MyAmici is the world leader in laboratory procurement, helping biotech companies with our cloud-based software and amazing service. You don’t need any substantive business experience. What we are looking for is curiosity and a desire to learn.

About the role:

• Scientists at the cutting edge of biotech contact us daily for help in sourcing important research products
• We consult with the customer, ensuring we have all the information needed to achieve the best outcome for them
• We scan the market for solutions, considering technical specifications, price, and speed of delivery
• We speak to the suppliers about their products, making sure we understand the nuances and negotiate the best prices
• We then share the options with the customer and guide them to the best outcomes
• All while working in a great team of like-minded people, supported by your manager

What we’re looking for:

• Strong communication skills, written and verbal
• Problem-solving mindset and resourcefulness under pressure
• A curious, proactive, and positive attitude
• A real team player, ready to support your colleagues
• Experience in the biotech industry or a relevant degree

This is a hybrid role with up to 4 days a week on site after your training. Assessment day: Friday 30 October 2026 at our office in Hillington.
