What skills and academic qualifications do I need?

You need to be on track to achieve a predicted degree classification of 2:1 or above in any discipline This programme is for university students who are doing well academically and want to test their skills in the real world. Y ou’llbe on track to achieve a predicteddegreeclassification of 2:1 or above in any discipline. You must also be in the penultimate year of your course.

What kind of work will I do?

As an Industrial Placement intern in SC&NO, you will work on large-scale transformation projects across a range of industries, gaining exposure to both business and technology challenges. As part of your role, you will:

  • Develop an understanding of the key technologies and processes that enable supply chains and identify opportunities for transformation.
  • Work with business and IT stakeholders to understand their challenges and translate these into actionable solutions.
  • Help design and deliver bespoke analytics-driven solutions that enable clients to make informed decisions about their supply chains.
  • Support the identification, configuration, and implementation of technologies that drive smart manufacturing and digital procurement, delivering tangible business value.
  • Combine digital technologies with innovative thinking to solve client challenges and help them embrace supply chain transformation.
  • Explore how supply chain solutions can improve sustainability and resilience, helping organisations meet their environmental and social goals.

Throughout your time at Deloitte, you’ll work collaboratively with clients and colleagues, gaining hands-on experience in delivering impactful solutions that redefine how organisations operate.

Where will I work?

At Deloitte werecognisehow important face-to-face interaction is foryourdevelopment in a new role.We also understand that our people need flexibility, which is whyweoperateahybrid system,with acombination ofoffice and home working. Ifyou’rein a client-facing role, you might be expected to attend client siteson certain days,while yourmeetings will be a mix of online and in-person events.Please note your final assessment and induction will also be in-person, to give you the opportunity to network and build relationships.

As an Industrial Placement intern (we call you Analysts) joining SC&NO, you will:

  • Be supported from your first day by our dedicated Early Talent team and senior sponsors from SC&NO.
  • Attend our Analyst Induction Programme (AIP) to learn about Deloitte’s culture, ways of working, and build your network.
  • Receive tailored training specific to SC&NO, including technologies and methodologies that will prepare you for client engagements.
