ABOUT GLASSETTE
Glassette is a design and lifestyle editorial platform where magazine sensibility meets e-commerce meets cultural authority. We live at the intersection of interiors, culture, food, travel and design – the spaces where taste is made. Our social channels aren’t an afterthought; they’re the front door. They’re where culture happens first.
THE ROLE
We’re hiring a Social Media & Cultural Strategy Manager who is obsessed with what’s happening right now – the Milan show that just dropped, the emerging designer everyone’s about to know, the cultural moment no one else has connected yet, the restaurant opening, the holiday spot you haven’t yet heard of. You live across platforms, across categories, across conversations. You’re not following trends; you’re spotting them.
This is a high-ownership role where your instincts matter enormously. You’ll shape our Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest and YouTube into platforms that don’t just reflect culture – they shape it. You’re planning, creating, posting and building community, but more importantly, you’re the voice that decides what Glassette stands for in the cultural conversation. You’ll partner directly with our Head of Creative and Creative Director – your ideas don’t just get heard – they get made.
The operational excellence is non-negotiable. Every caption, every post, every community interaction carries the Glassette standard. You take genuine pride in the craft of it – the timing, the tone, the visual language. You understand that culture lives in the details.
What we’re looking for: Someone chronically online in the best way – with taste, with intention, with an eye for what matters. You move fast, you stay curious, and you’re excited to bring your cultural perspective to life across every platform.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own and manage the day-to-day posting schedule across Instagram, TikTok and Pinterest (and YouTube in the future).
- Content is planned and scheduled at least a week ahead – but when a culturally relevant moment lands, you’re able to flex, adapt and move things around quickly without dropping the ball on everything else.
- Develop and execute a TikTok and Pinterest strategy that feels genuinely platform-native and pushes Glassette forward as a magazine-style brand across travel, food, hosting and culture.
- Bring fresh creative ideas that go beyond the obvious – we want to be first, not a follower.
- Write compelling, on-brand captions across all platforms – you understand that the writing is just as important as the visual.
- Monitor, engage and grow our community consistently – responding to comments, DMs and tags in a way that feels warm and on-brand.
- Work closely with the editorial calendar to ensure social content is always aligned to the wider content strategy.
- Collaborate with the team on brand partnerships and campaign content.
- Stay ahead of culture – flagging trends and moments before they peak.
- Track performance across platforms and use the data to inform what comes next.
- Assist on shoots and capture behind-the-scenes content, as well as creating ad-hoc social content when the moment calls for it.
ABOUT YOU
- 3–4 years of experience managing social media for a brand, publication or creative agency – ideally within design, lifestyle, fashion or culture
- Genuinely chronically online – you know what’s happening across culture before most people do, and across multiple genres and categories.
- Deeply fluent in Instagram, TikTok and Pinterest – you understand each platform, what performs and why.
- Meticulous about detail – not because someone tells you to be, but because getting things right matters to you personally.
- Creative with real taste and a point of view, who can also execute with precision and consistency.
- Confident creating and editing short-form video content – familiarity with CapCut or similar editing tools is a plus.
- Highly organised and self-directed – you plan ahead, manage your own workload and flag things proactively.
- Comfortable with social analytics tools and confident reading performance data to inform strategy.
- Some experience with paid social campaigns across TikTok and Meta – audience targeting, budgeting and performance metrics (not essential).
- Ambitious. You care about the work and want to grow.
- Enthusiastic, adaptable, and always willing to roll up your sleeves; no task too big or too small.
- Detail-obsessed and committed to delivering work to a consistently high standard.
- Self-motivated but thrives as part of a small, collaborative team.
WHAT LOOKS GOOD TO US
A few things that are important to us:
- Content is planned and scheduled at least a week ahead – but when a culturally relevant moment lands, you’re able to flex, adapt and move things around quickly without dropping the ball on everything else.
- Posts go live at the right time, with the right tags, in the right format – every single time.
- Everything is checked before publishing and immediately after – errors are caught before anyone sees them.
- Briefs are read, understood and confirmed before execution.
- Community engagement happens consistently, promptly and warmly.
- New ideas come to the table regularly – you’re always thinking about what’s next for the brand.
- Familiar with tools like Figma, Notion, Later and Slack – Google Analytics experience is a bonus but not essential. A quick learner when it comes to new platforms.
THE DETAILS:
- Hybrid working – 2 days in the London office (Hackney), 3 days working from home.
- Some out of hours and weekend availability will be required.
- A genuinely lovely team and a brand with real momentum.
