Part-Time E-commerce Packing & Stock Assistant
Salary £15 per hour
Hours Approximately 6–9 hours per week, normally 2–3 hours per day over 3 weekdays. Some flexibility around days and timings.
- Packing online customer orders carefully and accurately
- Printing shipping labels and preparing parcels for collection
- Receiving, checking and putting away incoming stock
- Counting stock and helping maintain accurate stock levels
- Organising products, packaging materials and the stock area
- Keeping the packing and storage areas tidy and well organised
- Assisting with periodic stock checks
- Helping with simple order and stock administration
- Using Shopify and our shipping software once familiar with the role
- Providing general practical support to the day-to-day running of our small e-commerce business
Skills and Experience Required
Previous packing, retail or e-commerce experience would be helpful but is not essential.
We are primarily looking for someone who is:
- Reliable and punctual
- Well organised and methodical
- Careful and attentive to detail
- Comfortable working independently
- Practical and happy with a hands-on role
- Able to follow simple processes accurately
- Comfortable using basic computer systems
- Able to lift and move normal-sized boxes of stock
Experience with Shopify, e-commerce, stock management or order fulfilment would be an advantage, but training can be provided.
As the shifts are relatively short, someone living locally to Brixton or within easy travelling distance would be ideal.
