n The Opportunity

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Credit Controller to join a well-established business based in Wythenshawe on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and driven individual who enjoys building relationships, reducing aged debt, and playing a key role in maintaining healthy cash flow across the business.

n

n Working as part of a supportive finance team, you will take ownership of customer accounts, ensuring payments are received on time while delivering excellent customer service and resolving any outstanding queries efficiently.n Key Responsibilities

• Proactively manage and maintain a portfolio of customer accounts.

n

• Chasing overdue payments via telephone, email, and written correspondence.

n

• Reducing aged debt and improving cash collection performance.

n

• Allocating incoming payments and reconciling customer accounts.

n

• Investigating and resolving invoice and payment queries.

n

• Building strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.

n

• Producing aged debt reports and providing updates to management.

n

• Negotiating and monitoring payment arrangements where required.

n

• Escalating high-risk accounts and supporting debt recovery processes.

n

• Assisting with month-end reporting and other finance-related duties.

About You

n

n
• Previous experience within a Credit Control or Accounts Receivable role.

n

• Strong communication and negotiation skills.

n

• Proven ability to manage a high-volume ledger and meet collection targets.

n

• Experience of account reconciliations and cash allocations.

n

• Ability to build effective relationships with customers and colleagues.

n

• Good attention to detail and strong organisational skills.

n

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and finance systems.

n

• A positive, proactive, and professional approach.

n
