Property Litigation Solicitor (Legal Director) – Birmingham
n A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Real Estate Litigation Solicitor to join the specialist property disputes team of a leading national law firm in Birmingham.
n This is an excellent opportunity for a Principal Associate or Legal Director looking to work on complex, high-value real estate disputes for an impressive client base, whilst playing an active role in the continued growth and development of a highly regarded national practice.
n The team acts for a diverse range of clients across the retail, leisure, development, investment and public sectors, advising on some of the most significant property disputes in the market.
n The Role
n You will handle a varied and technically challenging caseload of real estate litigation, advising clients on strategic and commercially important property disputes.
n Your work will include matters such as:
n Landlord and tenant disputesn Break noticesn Dilapidationsn Forfeiture and possession claimsn Lease renewalsn Rent recoveryn Service charge disputesn Land registration issuesn Restrictive covenant disputesn Rights to lightn Investment and development disputesn Property-related insolvency matters
n There will also be the opportunity to develop expertise in specialist areas including telecommunications, agricultural property and public law matters.
n Alongside your technical work, you will play an important role in developing client relationships and winning new business, raising your profile within the market and contributing to the team's wider business development strategy.
n You will also be encouraged to take an active role in mentoring and developing junior members of the team.
n The Candidate
n The successful candidate will be an experienced Real Estate Litigation Solicitor with a strong track record of handling complex property disputes.
n You will ideally have:
n Strong experience in real estate litigationn Experience managing complex and high-value property disputesn Excellent technical and drafting skillsn Strong commercial awareness and a strategic approach to litigationn The ability to develop trusted relationships with sophisticated clientsn A proven interest in business development and networkingn Experience supervising or mentoring junior lawyersn The confidence and ambition to contribute to the continued growth of a market-leading practice
