Senior Associate/Vice President – Corporate Finance (Healthcare)

Overview

In this role you lead and execute healthcare M&A projects from London, supporting clients and prospects with strategic advice. You will model and assess financial scenarios, coordinate due diligence, and craft information memoranda and presentations that win business. You mentor junior teammates, manage client relationships, and play a central role in pitches and marketing initiatives. The position combines entrepreneurial teamwork with high-impact, client-facing execution in a fast-paced environment. You will contribute to expanding the healthcare advisory platform and shaping deal outcomes for clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute M&A transactions
• Develop and review financial models, including database systems
• Coordinate and perform business due diligence
• Prepare confidential information memoranda, management presentations, pitches
• Manage, mentor and develop junior team
• Build relationships with clients, prospects and professional advisors
• Act as key client contact on transactions, lead client meetings and pitches
• Assist in initiating and extending group marketing and client development efforts

Key requirements

• Strong academic track record with a minimum 2:1 degree
• 5–7 years of investment banking experience in M&A advisory
• Healthcare sector experience or strong interest advantageous
• Advanced financial modelling (LBO, DCF, merger consequences, three-statement models)
• Deep understanding of financial valuation methodologies
• Thorough financial statement analysis and critical evaluation of assumptions
• Strong qualitative and quantitative research skills
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis tools
• Strong verbal and written English; German language proficiency preferable
• Independent thinker with problem-solving ability
• Capacity to manage multiple complex tasks under tight deadlines
• Motivated, self-directed and able to work independently in a fast-paced setting
