Overview

As a Director of Project Controls, you will lead end-to-end controls across major infrastructure programs, ensuring delivery within time and budget while meeting quality standards. You will guide multiple control disciplines, influence senior stakeholders, and support PMO capabilities to drive performance. This role sits at the heart of complex projects, shaping how controls enable successful outcomes for clients. You will work with cross-functional teams to transform project data into actionable insight and measurable results.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver end-to-end project controls for large, complex mega projects
  • Monitor performance using KPI-based techniques to drive improvements
  • Lead multiple project controls functions: risk, schedule, cost, change/scope
  • Influence senior stakeholders to improve project performance
  • Serve as day-to-day interface with client teams to meet objectives
  • Support the PMO centre of excellence in developing project controls services
  • Ensure projects are delivered to time, cost and quality standards
  • Align project controls with client objectives and contractual conditions

Key requirements

  • Relevant technical degree and management qualifications
  • Experience in project control roles for development and/or delivery of construction projects
  • Experience in planning & scheduling and cost management
  • Experience in risk management, change control, information management and reporting on complex projects
  • Ability to manage and mentor a team of specialists
