Quantity Surveyor

Overview

In this role you will operate as a Quantity Surveyor within a growing main contractor, supporting refurbishment and fit-out projects. You will manage projects from the Stevenage office with occasional site visits and report to the Commercial Manager, taking ownership of your projects. You will contribute to cost control and commercial delivery across schemes typically up to £10m, helping the team meet its targets. This role offers hands-on experience in mid-scale refurbishment with direct impact on project outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Run and manage QS-related tasks on own projects
• Report to the Commercial Manager on progress and performance
• Conduct site visits to monitor works and quantify changes
• Support cost control and commercial delivery for refurbishment projects
• Collaborate with project teams from planning to close-out
