Overview
In this role you oversee risk and compliance within Capital Groups Europe and Asia portfolios, acting as a key liaison for governance groups, Boards and Clients. You will monitor risk across markets, support regulatory and client demands, and contribute to global risk management initiatives. You’ll work with investment management systems to ensure accurate risk oversight and reporting. This is a globally integrated position with a focus on fiduciary responsibility and high integrity.

Responsibilities
- Oversee and monitor risk and compliance limits with access to investment systems
- Lead/co-ordinate regulatory risk reporting requirements with internal groups
- Lead/co-ordinate client risk management requests
- Maintain and execute the Risk Policy
- Develop and provide risk reports for senior management and oversight forums
- Support global investment risk management initiatives and inquiries
Key requirements
- 8+ years experience in risk management and/or risk reporting
- Bachelor in Economics, Finance, or Statistics is preferable
- Strong written and oral communication with diverse stakeholders
- Initiative and ability to identify issues and propose solutions
- Ability to plan processes and collaborate to meet deadlines
- Deep understanding of investment risk concepts (market, liquidity, credit, counterparty)
- Knowledge of risk management frameworks within an asset management context
- Familiarity with risk approaches for private markets assets (private credit/private equity)
