hands-on Electronics & Electro-Mechanical Applications Engineer
to join a specialist fire detection and electronics testing laboratory.The role will involve:Electronics & electro-mechanical design and developmentDeveloping test rigs, fixtures and laboratory equipmentCommissioning and validating systemsFault-finding and troubleshootingWorking with suppliers and technical stakeholdersManaging technical projects from concept through to completionWill support the delivery of several laboratorydevelopment and capital investment (CAPEX) projects, taking responsibility foridentifying technical solutions, engaging with suppliers, procuring equipment,coordinating implementation activities and delivering fully operationalsystems.Ideal experience:
Electronics Engineering, Applications Engineering, Mechatronics, Test Engineering or a related field, with practical experience in design, testing and commissioning.Experience with
CAD, Python, MATLAB, LabVIEW, instrumentation or data acquisition systems
would be advantageous.??
