Cragston Court is looking to recruit aRegistered Mental Health Nurse to jointhe team. This is a part time, 22.5hour role working both days and nightson a 6 week rolling rota.  Located inBlakelaw, Cragston Court is a 20 bed residential service,offering  nurse-led rehabilitation programmes for peopleliving with enduring mental health conditions. We support peoplecoming to us from a hospital environment, and those stepping upfrom another community placement or their ownhomes.

What you’ll bedoing

You will be part of acompassionate team who are committed to our residents wellbeing. Wetake a personalised approach, using proven therapies to help peoplemove forward with confidence and build a healthier, more fulfillingfuture. As a Registered Mental HealthNurse, you will play a key part in their recovery,assisting qualified staff with the assessment and implementation ofindividual patient care plans, undertaking routine tasks andactivities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing,dignity and treatment of residents.

  • Deliver prescribed care to a defined group within anagreed framework.  Assess, plan and deliver, with the patientand their carer/family, nursing care which takes account of patientchoice and wishes and acting as the patients namednurse.
  • Accurately observe and engage withpatients in order to assess need and evaluate progress.
  • Monitor and review Nursing Care plans.

You’ll be a RegisteredMental Health Nurse (RMN), holding an active NMC registration andexperience within a similar environment.  You’ll demonstratesound knowledge of NMC guidelines, standards, and professionalpractices, along with a strong commitment to ongoing professionaldevelopment.
