As Line Producer for Bloomberg TV in London, you will drive the daily two-hour Morning show The Opening Trade, coordinating editorial priorities with a global newsroom. You’ll output live broadcasts from the control room and adapt quickly to breaking news, ensuring accuracy and clarity across scripts, graphics, and guest elements. You’ll lead editorial discussions and translate market-moving stories for a diverse audience. This role blends fast-paced production with strategic storytelling to shape Bloomberg’s European markets coverage.

Responsibilities

• Build a daily two-hour show rundown aligned with editorial priorities and global resources
• Output live shows from the control room
• Pivot and react to breaking news
• Write sharp, engaging copy and produce elements for guest intros, teases and headlines
• Ensure all scripts, graphics and editorial content meet Bloombergs standards for accuracy and clarity
• Lead team editorial meetings and discuss top market-moving stories with confidence
• Take direction from the senior producer and execute tasks with minimal supervision

Key requirements

• At least 5 years experience in a similar role
• Exceptional editorial judgement
• Deep knowledge of financial markets and business news
• Organizational skills, ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
