to join an established Energy Recovery Facility in Tyseley, Birmingham.

The role

As Plant Operator, you’ll work as part of a three-person shift team supporting the safe operation of the Energy Recovery Facility.

Your duties will include:Operating front-end loaders, telehandlers and forklift trucksVehicle reception and banksman dutiesUnloading, loading and storing fuelCarrying out fuel weighing and samplingRecording operational results accuratelyCompleting basic first-line maintenance, including greasing and PPM checksMaintaining clean, safe and orderly plant areasFollowing operational SOPsWorking in line with health, safety and environmental proceduresProviding shift cover for sickness, annual leave and training

365-day, 24/7 shift rota

What we’re looking for

Previous experience as a

Plant Operator

within an industrial, factory or heavy process environment would be advantageous, although not essential.

Mobile plant experience would also be beneficial, particularly operating:Front End Loader / Loading ShovelTelehandlerForklift Truck

Relevant, recognised mobile plant licences or operator tickets for this equipment would be advantageous, but are not essential.
