Kilworth, Leicestershire.

This is a fantastic opportunity, offering great rates of pay, consistent Monday to Friday working (static days) with room to develop and progress within a busy manufacturing environment.This is an excellent opportunity for practical, hands-on individuals who enjoy assembling precision products, working with their hands and maintaining high-quality standards. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the assembly, testing, inspection and packaging of products and associated electronic assemblies. Manufacturing Technician, Service Technician or Test TechnicianShifts:

Monday – Friday: 08.30am – 17.00pm (1 hr lunch) / alternative hours also available Monday – Thursday: 08.30am 17.00pm and Friday 08.30am – 2.30pm (half hour lunch) – static daysPay rate:

£13.50 – £15.50 per hour (DOE)BenefitsYour benefits as an Production / Assembly Technician are:Weekly payHighly competitive hourly rates of payNo weekend workingTraining & DevelopmentOn site refurbished Canteen facilitiesOn site Parking (free)Access to Employee Assistance ProgramEmployee recognition schemeEmployee referral programPermanent positions available for suitable candidatesDay to Day DutiesAs a Production / Assembly Technician, your duties will be, but not limited to:Assembly & ManufacturingAssembly of mechanical and electro-mechanical products using hand tools and assembly fixtures.Use of screwdrivers, torque drivers and other hand tools to complete product assembly.Applying adhesives, thermal interface materials, sealants and other specialist materials in accordance with manufacturing procedures.Preparation and assembly of components to engineering drawings and work instructions.Wiring, cable preparation, sleeving and termination of electrical assemblies.Soldering of electronic and electrical components where required.Testing & InspectionCarrying out visual inspections of components and finished products.Performing functional testing using standard test procedures and equipment.Recording production and quality data accurately.Identifying and reporting defects, non-conformances or process issues.Production SupportPacking and labelling finished goods for dispatch.Maintaining organised workstations and production areas.Assisting with stock control and component management.Supporting continuous improvement activities within production.Health, Safety & QualityWorking safely at all times and following company procedures.Maintaining high quality standards throughout all manufacturing operations.Ensuring products are assembled and tested to specification.Supporting ISO and quality management requirements as required.Essential SkillsSkills needed to be a Production / Assembly Technician with our client are:Good manual dexterity and attention to detail.Ability to follow written work instructions and assembly procedures.Good communication skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Positive attitude and willingness to learn.Desirable Skills / ExperiencePrevious manufacturing or production experience.Experience of mechanical or electro-mechanical assembly.QualificationsGCSE Maths and English (or equivalent).TrainingIndustry related training and ongoing support throughoutApply:
