Overview
In this Senior Vice President role, you will own the strategic, commercial, and operational performance of the Complex Assets franchise, spanning OTC derivatives post-trade services, Middle Office, and Fund Accounting. You will shape a forward-looking operating model to meet regulatory and client needs, while leading a global, cross-functional organization. The position combines enterprise strategy, technology-led transformation, and executive stakeholder engagement. You will influence Citi’s position in a competitive market and drive growth across the client franchise.

Responsibilities
- Define and champion multi-year strategic vision for the Complex Assets franchise
- Manage executive relationships and represent the business in governance and client forums
- Lead a large, geographically dispersed organization and develop future leaders
- Own client relationships end-to-end and drive retention, satisfaction, and wallet share
- Shape technology strategy and fund a multi-year digital transformation agenda (AI, ML, cloud, automation)
- Foster cross-business collaboration to align with Citis broader franchise ambition
Key requirements
- Extensive experience in OTC derivatives and/or securities services at senior leadership level
- Proven track record of managing a complex, global, regulated financial services operation
- Deep expertise across OTC derivatives (rates, credit, FX, equity, commodities) with executive guidance capability
- Experience conceiving and delivering large-scale transformation programmes (tech-led change, operating model redesign, post-merger integration)
- Strong financial acumen with budgeting, forecasting, and business case development at enterprise level
- Outstanding executive communication, influencing, and negotiation skills with board-level credibility
- Active involvement in trade bodies or regulatory working groups
- Proficiency in using data and technology to drive strategic decision-making; comfort with CTO-level discussions
