Overview

In this role you will contribute to water sector projects across the UK, from needs assessment and feasibility to outline and detailed design. You will work within a collaborative civil engineering team on AMP8 initiatives, delivering high-quality designs that support resilient water supply and improved water quality. You’ll partner with cross-disciplinary teams and mentors, shaping award-winning projects that make a real community impact. Responsibilities

  • Develop civil design solutions from needs assessment through to detailed design
  • Collaborate with other disciplines and lead or support other civil engineers
  • Deliver designs and design deliverables within agreed timescales and budgets
  • Contribute to AMP8 water-sector projects and other award-winning initiatives
  • Engage with stakeholders to translate client needs into feasible technical solutions

Key requirements

  • Degree qualified in Civil Engineering
  • Chartered status (ideally) and membership of a relevant engineering institution
  • Experience in the water industry with design and construction knowledge
  • Proven track record delivering design deliverables on time and within budget
  • Ability to collaborate and mentor other civil engineers
  • Collaborative mindset
