Principal Consultant (Senior Manager) – Trade & Transaction Reporting

Overview

In this role you lead multi-jurisdictional regulatory reporting transformation programs for Capco’s Trade & Transaction Reporting capability. You partner with Tier 1 financial institutions to implement regulatory changes, strengthen controls, and optimise reporting operating models across regimes such as EMIR Refit, MiFIR, SFTR, CFTC, MAS, and HKMA. You will leverage AI-enabled workflows to improve analysis, speed delivery, and enhance reporting quality, while ensuring responsible use and governance. You shape solutions, mentor teams, and contribute to business development within FRRF.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver trade and transaction reporting transformation initiatives across multiple regulatory regimes
• Translate regulatory requirements into practical business solutions and support remediation and control optimisation
• Analyse and enhance reporting architectures, data lineage, reconciliations, and data quality with AI-enabled analytics
• Guide implementation of regulatory reporting platforms and RegTech solutions with governance and oversight for AI-enabled capabilities
• Build strong client relationships and contribute to proposition development, mentoring, and Capco’s Regulatory Reporting growth

Key requirements

• Strong experience delivering trade or transaction reporting transformation across global regimes
• Knowledge of Capital Markets products (OTC/listed derivatives, equities, fixed income, FX)
• Experience with reporting controls, reconciliations, data quality governance, operating models, and regulatory frameworks
• Broad understanding of Front/Middle Office, Risk, Treasury, Operations, Compliance, and Technology
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills; experience using approved AI tools to enhance analysis and decision-making
