Associate Vice President, Digital Infrastructure Accounting Manager

Overview

In this role you will lead accounting operations for the Europe region, ensuring IFRS reporting, close processes, and strong internal controls. You will partner with Portfolio Management, Tax, Treasury, FP&A, Construction, and business leaders to support growth across the EMEA portfolio. You will drive standardization, automation, and reliable financial reporting in a capital-intensive data centre business. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on scalable processes, external audits, and timely financial statements. You will contribute to a high-performance, collaborative culture that underpins sustainable growth.

Responsibilities

• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close across investment entities
• Prepare timely IFRS financial statements and ensure accuracy
• Oversee reconciliations, journal entries, intercompany activity, and balance sheet reviews
• Maintain internal controls and compliance with accounting policies
• Drive process standardization, efficiency, and automation using AI and technology
• Oversee third-party accounting firms and outsourced finance partners
• Coordinate statutory reporting and external audits with co-sec and third parties
• Collaborate with Tax on VAT, corporate tax, transfer pricing, and regulatory matters
• Partner with Construction for supplier management, accruals, cash forecasting, and capitalization of assets
• Support ad hoc reporting and monitor project spending, CIP transfers, and asset capitalization

Key requirements

• 7+ years progressive accounting experience
• Bachelor in Accounting
• CPA, ACA, ACCA, CA, or equivalent qualification
• Strong knowledge of IFRS
• Advanced ERP knowledge (Yardi Voyager or Procore a plus)
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Public accounting experience a plus
