SAP EWM, MFS S/4HANA Functional consultant – UK

Overview

In this role you lead the functional design and delivery of SAP S/4HANA EWM with MFS for automated warehouses, driving end-to-end implementations. You own solutioning to align automation with business needs and mentor delivery teams. You’ll govern EWM–MFS integration for ASRS, conveyors, and AMR/AGV systems, while ensuring successful testing, cutover, and go-live support. This position combines deep SAP expertise with leadership in large, global programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead functional design and delivery of SAP S/4HANA EWM with MFS across end-to-end implementations
• Own solutioning for automated warehouse processes aligning with business requirements
• Design and govern EWM–MFS integration for ASRS, conveyors, sorters, shuttle systems, and AMR/AGV automation
• Configure core EWM processes (inbound, outbound, internal movements, wave management, RF)
• Drive testing, cutover, go-live support, and hypercare
• Provide Principal Consultant leadership: mentor teams, ensure delivery quality, support presales solutioning

Key requirements

• Strong hands-on functional expertise in SAP S/4HANA EWM with multiple full lifecycle implementations
• Proven experience in SAP EWM MFS in highly automated warehouse environments
• Deep understanding of automation scenarios (ASRS, conveyor/sorter, shuttle, AMR/AGV)
• Expertise in core EWM configuration (warehouse structure, RF, monitoring, exception handling)
• Experience mentoring teams and enforcing delivery excellence at scale
• Ability to translate business requirements into robust SAP solutions
• Strong stakeholder management and communication with customer architects and plant/warehouse leadership
