Commercial Manager – Regeneration – Surrey – 75,000 plus package

Overview

In this Commercial Manager role, you will oversee cost control, contract matters, and subcontractor procurement across complex regeneration projects from pre-production to final account. You’ll work with the Regeneration team from the Surrey office, with occasional travel to the South West and Midlands to visit schemes. You’ll support timely, accurate cost management and provide information to the Commercial Director as needed. Responsibilities

• Oversee cost management for development sites from pre-production to completion
• Negotiate, let, and manage subcontractors within deadlines
• Prepare subcontract documents detailing required works and materials
• Ensure timely, accurate procurement and payment to sub-contractors
• Support Commercial Director with additional information and tasks
• Assist in achieving cost-effective design and material specifications

Key requirements

• RICS/CIOB qualification
• Commercially aware with ability to manage staff
• Extensive experience in a senior surveying role within house building or mixed-use development
• Excellent communication and multi-tasking abilities
• Organised and able to work under strict deadlines
• Concrete frame experience; experience managing complex, multi-phased projects
