Overview
In this role you will drive new business growth across the UK for a growing packaging manufacturer, focusing on cartons and folding cartons. You will build relationships with procurement, commercial, technical and senior decision-makers, manage the full 360 sales cycle, and translate customer needs into packaging solutions. The position offers autonomy to develop your territory, with a clear path to progression and a meaningful impact on revenue. You will work cross-functionally to win high-value accounts in cosmetics, beverages and pharmaceutical sectors.

Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new UK business opportunities
- Target and win customers in cartons/folding cartons
- Build relationships with procurement, commercial, technical and senior decision-makers
- Manage end-to-end sales cycle from prospecting to negotiation
- Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and meet revenue targets
- Develop opportunities in cosmetics, drinks and pharmaceutical sectors
- Understand customer packaging requirements and coordinate with internal teams
- Prepare quotations, proposals and commercial presentations
- Negotiate pricing and commercial agreements for profitable growth
- Attend customer meetings, exhibitions and industry events
- Maintain accurate CRM records and provide sales forecasts
Key requirements
- Proven experience in cartons/folding cartons or related packaging environment
- Strong track record in new business development and account acquisition
- Experience selling into cosmetics, drinks/beverages and/or pharmaceutical markets
- Solid understanding of B2B packaging sales and commercial negotiations
- Experience managing a 360 sales cycle
- Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills
- Commercially driven, proactive and target-focused approach
- Ability to build relationships across levels from operators to senior management
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationally
