Equity Capital Markets Associate

Overview

In this ECM role, you support origination and execution of equity and equity-linked transactions across regions, collaborating with corporate finance and capital markets teams. You’ll monitor markets, evaluate issuer profiles, and help prepare marketing materials, contributing to meetings with corporates and investors. You will participate in deal execution and have opportunities to mentor juniors, shaping a dynamic, growth-focused ECM franchise.

Responsibilities

• Involvement in ECM coverage for clients across industries and countries
• Collaborate with corporate finance & capital markets teams (IB coverage, DCM, M&A, Structured Finance)
• Monitor market environment and assess issuer profiles to identify opportunities
• Prepare marketing materials and transaction documentation
• Engage with clients and participate in meetings with corporates and investors
• Participate in the execution of ECM transactions
• Mentor and train junior team members

Key requirements

• 3–5 years of relevant experience
• Experience in Equity Capital Markets, Equity-Linked, or Equity derivatives
• Master’s degree in Financial, Business or Economic fields
• Strong interest in equities, capital markets and corporate finance
• Knowledge of global financial markets
• Proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
• English at CEFR C1 level; Italian advantageous
