Solutions Engineer, Apps & Gaming

Overview

In this role you help advertisers succeed by applying technical solutions that align with business goals. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand client needs, build trusted relationships, and shape product ideas. You’ll work at the intersection of business and engineering to deliver end-to-end advertising tech solutions and influence roadmaps. This is a hands-on, client-facing role that combines software craftsmanship with market insight to drive measurable impact.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders internally and externally, acting as a technical point of contact
• Be an expert on TikTok Ads capabilities and translate client needs into trusted technical guidance
• Collaborate with sales to identify opportunities and align solutions with advertisers’ business goals
• Build and ship new products and end-to-end customized solutions with Ads product engineering teams
• Influence the product development roadmap to address business challenges
• Maintain subject matter expertise on marketing technology and API trends

Key requirements

• Bachelor in Computer Science or related field
• 5+ years of experience in software development, technical solutions design and delivery
• Proficiency in one or more general-purpose programming languages (Python, Go, Java, C/C++) and API/backend systems design
• Hands-on experience with ML infrastructure (training, deployment, evaluation, tuning, data pipelines, debugging production issues)
• Ability to tailor technical presentations to diverse audiences and deliver to groups of varying backgrounds
• Excellent problem solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills
