Infrastructure Engineer
Contract | £450-£550 per day | Belfast
An established organisation is embarking on a significant infrastructure refresh programme and requires an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to support a range of technology upgrade and transformation initiatives.
This role is ideal for contractors who enjoy varied project work across servers, networks, cloud technologies and end-user infrastructure.
About You
You’ll have strong experience across several of the following technologies:
- Windows Server
- VMware
- Hyper-V
- Microsoft 365
- Azure
- Active Directory
- Entra ID
- Enterprise Storage
- Backup Technologies
- Networking
- Infrastructure Migrations
You’ll be comfortable working independently and delivering project outcomes within agreed timelines.
What You’ll Do
- Deliver infrastructure upgrade projects
- Support server and platform migrations
- Assist with cloud adoption initiatives
- Implement improvements to resilience and security
- Work alongside third-party suppliers
- Document technical solutions and processes
- Contribute to future infrastructure strategy
