An exciting opportunity to join an award-winning, multi-site FMCG business in North Down as a Buyer.

Reporting to the Procurement Manager, you will support the efficient purchasing of fresh raw materials, ensuring the right quality, quantity and cost while maintaining strong supplier relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the purchasing and supply of fresh raw materials.
• Liaise with suppliers on pricing, quality, availability and delivery.
• Negotiate supplier terms and maintain strong supplier relationships.
• Monitor market trends, pricing and potential supply issues.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and systems.
• Work closely with Production, QA and Product Development teams.
• Identify opportunities to improve purchasing efficiency and minimise supply risk.

What Were Looking For

• 1+ years experience in buying, purchasing or procurement, ideally within food, FMCG or a similar environment.
• Strong negotiation and supplier relationship management skills.
• Confident communication and problem-solving abilities.
