Overview

As an Account Manager in Global Benefits Management, you will steward a small portfolio of multinational clients, guiding global insured benefits strategy and the coordination of local renewals. You’ll collaborate with client teams and senior Global Client Managers to deliver aligned, high-quality outcomes. The role blends advisory support with governance and coordination across locations, shaping international benefits delivery. This hybrid London/Bristol position offers exposure to global benefits programs and client growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Manage relationships for a portfolio of 4–6 multinational clients and advise on global insured benefits
  • Oversee GBM appointments’ implementation and ongoing management, ensuring satisfaction and alignment of internal/external parties
  • Collaborate with client teams to influence delivery and foster shared ownership
  • Act as lead global contact for client deliverables under the GBM appointment with senior Global Client Managers
  • Support execution of the client’s global benefit strategy (harmonization, minimum standards, global financing)
  • Coordinate local in-country colleagues acting as specialists/brokers
  • Provide regular reports on employee benefit programs to monitor governance processes
  • Stay informed on international benefits trends and advise clients on market developments
  • Identify opportunities to grow client revenue and assist with new business opportunities

Key requirements

  • Consulting, client management or broking experience in a large, global organisation
  • Experience in Insurance, Financial Services or Employee Benefits with multinationals
  • Client-facing mindset with ability to advise on insured employee benefits
  • Ability to analyse and communicate about insured employee benefit products
  • Excellent written and verbal communication with high attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently with prioritisation and delivery focus
  • Results-oriented, capable of high standards in a demanding environment
