Overview

As a Staff Product Designer at Teya, you own end-to-end product design for key areas, from discovery to delivery, shaping merchant-focused experiences. You’ll work in cross-functional squads with Product, Engineering, Data and Operations to turn messy constraints into clear, elegant flows. You’ll simplify complex journeys to help small and medium merchants run and grow their business. Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end design for key product areas from discovery to high-quality delivery
  • Translate ambiguous requirements into actionable flows, wireframes, and interfaces
  • Simplify complex user journeys to improve speed, understandability, and delight for merchants
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, Data and Operations to define problems and shape roadmaps
  • Use qualitative and quantitative insights to inform decisions and iterate designs
  • Create clear design artefacts (flows, wireframes, UI, prototypes, specs) to drive alignment
  • Contribute to and evolve the design system and standards across surfaces and platforms

Key requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as Product Designer / UX/UI Designer with end-to-end ownership
  • Strong interaction and visual design skills with a demonstrable portfolio
  • Proven ability to simplify complex journeys into intuitive experiences
  • Comfort navigating ambiguity and framing problems to move teams forward
  • Experience in cross-functional product teams with strong stakeholder management
  • Ability to influence engineers and participate in trade-offs and delivery planning
  • Proficiency with modern design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma) and familiarity with design systems
