APP Data Analyst

Overview

In this APP Data Analyst role, you will support Burberry’s Asset & Profit Protection function by turning data into actionable insights that strengthen risk management and operational efficiency. You will work across multiple functions to maintain data integrity, deliver accurate reporting, and enhance analytics capabilities. You’ll build and maintain dashboards and reporting tools to inform decisions and drive process improvements. This position offers broad exposure to fraud prevention, data analytics, and cross-functional collaboration within a experienced team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance operational data across multiple sources for accuracy and consistency
• Cleanse, validate and manage incident, investigation, compliance and operational datasets for reliable reporting
• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, Power Apps, and reporting tools for global stakeholders
• Support digital fraud activities including chargeback analysis and related data investigations
• Deliver analysis and reporting to support stock loss, compliance and risk-management initiatives
• Identify opportunities to automate reporting and create new data solutions to drive efficiency and insight

Key requirements

• Experience with large datasets and delivering accurate reporting
• Strong Excel capabilities and experience with Microsoft Power Platform tools (Power BI, Power Apps)
• Detail-oriented with high data quality standards
• Ability to work independently and build relationships with stakeholders
• Curiosity and proactive mindset in identifying trends, risks, and opportunities in data
• Experience in retail fraud prevention, Microsoft Access, SAP or SQL is beneficial but not essential
