Project Manager

Overview

In this Project Manager role, you will oversee multiple capital engineering and construction schemes to achieve key KPIs within Severn Trent’s Capital and Commercial Services. Based at Finham (Coventry), you report to the Lead Project Manager and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects that support the environment and local communities. You will apply a proactive, solution‑driven approach to planning, risk, and stakeholder engagement, shaping how capital works are delivered. This is a people-focused opportunity to drive continuous improvement and meaningful impact in a large utility company.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple capital engineering and construction schemes
• Deliver on project KPIs within Capital and Commercial Services
• Cost planning and budget management for schemes
• Maintain strong stakeholder relationships with internal and external partners
• Proactively identify and mitigate risks and issues
• Communicate effectively to diverse stakeholders
• Support continuous improvement and innovation in delivery
• Lead or contribute to project governance and reporting

Key requirements

• Degree qualification or relevant industry experience in project and programme delivery
• Experience with NEC projects is desirable
• Proven cost planning and budget management responsibility
• Strong communication and influencing skills
• Ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders
• Flexible and proactive problem-solving orientation
• Full UK driving licence
• Positive, collaborative, caring attitude
