Project Manager

Overview

In this role, you join a regional team to support and eventually lead multi-disciplinary projects across Bristol & South. You will work closely with technical and project teams to ensure projects run smoothly through their full lifecycle. You’ll learn Stantec systems and processes with guidance from experienced Project Managers and Directors, building experience across civil, structural, MEP, acoustic, fire and geoenvironmental settings. Responsibilities

• Set up and manage new multi-disciplinary projects and related documentation
• Organise project folders with fee agreements and change orders for technical teams
• Monitor budget uplifts and identify change order opportunities with technical leads
• Support change control processes by documenting requests and tracking approvals
• Lead and support technical teams to coordinate, manage risk and solve problems
• Track project performance and assist with forecasting and EAC updates
• Coordinate information for monthly billing and oversee invoicing in line with client specs

Key requirements

• Degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field is desirable
• Exposure to Oracle, IPS and PURS
• Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Exceptional organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication with technical and financial teams
• Proven ability to manage multiple administrative tasks, prioritise and meet deadlines
• Proactive attitude and willingness to learn and understand project lifecycle management
• Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality
