Overview
As an experienced engineer, you contribute to delivering mechanical designs for water infrastructure projects across Australia and New Zealand. You will ensure design quality, provide technical guidance, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support sustainable outcomes. The role offers mentorship from industry leaders and opportunities to work on high‑impact water treatment, desalination, and major conveyance projects. You will shape delivery excellence and develop emerging engineers.

Responsibilities
- Deliver mechanical designs for water and wastewater projects as part of a multi‑disciplinary team
- Provide design advice, review, and approval, maintaining high delivery standards
- Work on major national and international projects including treatment plants, desalination, pump stations, pipelines, dams and headworks
- Support cross‑department project delivery across water, transport, power and urban development initiatives
- Mentor and develop junior engineers to grow technical capabilities and future leaders
Key requirements
- Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering
- CPEng – highly regarded
- Mechanical design experience in water/wastewater projects
- Knowledge of design codes, standards and guidelines
- Experience delivering multi‑disciplinary solutions and leading technical teams
- Strong client and stakeholder engagement skills
