Overview

In this role you will help strengthen and standardise Experian’s ICFR framework toward leading-practice SOX. You will partner across Finance Control Towers, IT Controls, Governance and Business Partners to drive consistency and control effectiveness globally. You will lead control transformation programs, streamline controls, and embed sustainable, automated processes. This is a high-impact, cross-functional role shaping Experian’s global controls environment and long-term excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement and embed the global ICFR framework toward SOX-aligned standards
  • Partner with Finance Control Towers, IT Controls, Governance and Business Partners to standardise control execution
  • Lead control transformation programs to simplify controls and remove duplication
  • Drive continuous improvement via automation, analytics, and control monitoring
  • Translate programme outcomes into scalable BAU frameworks, tools and governance routines

Key requirements

  • Strong experience in Financial Controls, SOX, ICFR, Internal Audit or related controls environments
  • Understanding of control design and operating effectiveness with embedding sustainable controls
  • Experience with Finance Control Towers, Shared Service Centres, or global process ownership
  • Continuous improvement mindset for standardisation and control optimisation
  • Strong stakeholder management across complex global organisations
