Responsibilities

  • Lead electronics design for medical devices to ISO 13485 standards
  • Collaborate with software, embedded, mechanical, and regulatory teams
  • Contribute to product development from concept to market release
  • Communicate progress and risks to internal and external stakeholders (project management)
  • Support regulatory compliance activities and design reviews
  • Participate in cross-functional planning and technical decision-making
  • Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in electronics design

Key requirements

  • Proven track record developing medical devices that reached market with electronics design under ISO 13485
  • Experience in cross-functional collaboration across hardware, software, and regulatory teams
  • Ability to relay information to internal and external teams (project management experience)
  • Desirable knowledge of EN 60601 standards
  • Degree from a leading university (field unspecified) with relevant industry experience
