Group Data Management Strategy & Transformation Senior Analyst

Overview

As a Data Management Analyst, you will develop and maintain governance frameworks for data and records across Barclays’ global operations. You will ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and industry standards, supporting data quality, integrity, traceability, and compliance. You will lead the design and rollout of records management and data governance programs, and provide group-wide guidance and training. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to mitigate risks and strengthen controls, driving measurable improvements in data governance across the organisation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a comprehensive data and records governance framework aligned with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Monitor data quality and records metrics and ensure compliance with standards across the organisation.
• Identify and address data and records management risks and gaps.
• Design and implement a records management programme for identification, classification, storage, retention, retrieval and disposal of records.
• Develop and implement a data governance strategy aligned with the bank’s overall data management strategy and objectives.
• Provide group-wide guidance and training on Data and Records Management standards.

Key requirements

• Excellent verbal and written communication with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
• Expertise in data management, governance frameworks and industry standards, ensuring data quality and compliance
