Overview

In this role you partner with the UK Buildings business to shape recruitment strategies and build sustainable talent pipelines. You act as a trusted link between hiring managers and the central Sourcing Team to ensure targeted, compliant and high-quality sourcing. You will influence hiring decisions, drive inclusive practices, and contribute to growth by aligning recruitment activity with business priorities. The opportunity combines hands-on delivery with strategic stakeholder engagement in a collaborative, value-driven environment.

Responsibilities

  • Act as dedicated TA partner to the UK Buildings business, building relationships with hiring managers and leadership
  • Understand workforce priorities, growth plans and future talent needs
  • Lead recruitment briefings and intake meetings; advise on market talent availability and trends
  • Develop tailored recruitment strategies per vacancy, team, or growth area
  • Advise on recruitment plans to reflect market realities and champion inclusive practices
  • Collaborate with central Sourcing Team to attract talent across Buildings disciplines
  • Build and manage high-quality pipelines for disciplines like Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Fire Engineering and Project Management
  • Drive targeted direct sourcing via LinkedIn, talent mapping, networking and referrals
  • Develop sustainable talent pools for immediate and future needs; promote internal mobility and referrals
  • Manage agency relationships per Preferred Supplier List and recruitment processes
  • Oversee end-to-end recruitment activity from briefing to onboarding and maintain stakeholder updates
  • Support effective assessment approaches, including competency-based interviewing
  • Ensure ATS usage (including Eploy) and compliant recruitment practices
  • Utilize data and market intelligence to measure progress and improve outcomes
  • Identify opportunities to improve attraction, sourcing effectiveness and processes across UK Buildings

Key requirements

  • Proven Talent Acquisition or resourcing experience, ideally in-house or professional services
  • Experience recruiting across technical, engineering or specialist disciplines
  • Strong partnership with hiring managers and senior stakeholders
  • Experience working with centralised sourcing or recruitment operations teams
  • Ability to manage multiple vacancies in a fast-paced environment
  • Previous agency recruitment experience is a plus
  • End-to-end TA knowledge; ability to develop targeted sourcing strategies and pipelines
  • Confident using LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing tools
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems, ideally Eploy or similar
  • Strong candidate assessment and competency-based interviewing skills
  • Ability to use data and market intelligence to shape recruitment strategies
  • Understanding of direct recruitment, referrals, internal mobility and agency channels
  • Knowledge of recruitment compliance including Right to Work and GDPR
  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills
