Overview

In this role you drive cloud business insights and competitive strategies to help AWS customers choose our cloud platform. You will act as the compete liaison across EMEA, translating customer needs into cloud outcomes and guiding sales teams through digital transformation at the executive level. You’ll partner with Sales, Marketing, BD, and product teams to win competitive deals and articulate AWS’s value proposition. The role involves leading workshops, tracking market signals, and upskilling field teams. You’ll travel to engage with customers and internal stakeholders to differentiate AWS.

Responsibilities

  • Develop scalable competitive strategies to win strategic deals
  • Coach and strengthen large-deal closing capabilities
  • Serve as the go-to resource for AWS field sales and leadership differentiation
  • Articulate business value of AWS propositions by aligning with customers’ strategic objectives
  • Earn trust and influence C-level executives within customer organizations and AWS
  • Lead strategic, in-person workshops (travel required)
  • Share cloud adoption trends and blockers across the ecosystem
  • Create field-friendly content and trainings to enable field teams
  • Track market signals to provide Cloud Intelligence insights for offering improvements
  • Influence internal stakeholders on market realities to differentiate AWS’s value

Key requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience in developing, negotiating and executing business agreements
  • Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level
  • Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to influence at the C-level
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration
  • Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations
  • Ability to translate business requirements into cloud outcomes and articulate value proposition
  • Understanding of cloud computing and public cloud sales best practices
