Responsibilities
- Drive innovation and deliver high-quality software at pace
- Own and deliver solutions within defined projects and team goals
- Contribute to a cloud-native, distributed codebase with a focus on backend systems
- Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and wider stakeholders to align with business outcomes
- Maintain awareness of sustainability and cost-efficiency in engineering decisions
- Adopt and improve agile practices and DevOps culture, including CI/CD and automated deployments
- Participate in reviews, provide and solicit constructive feedback to peers

Key requirements
- Mid-level engineer with generalist software development knowledge
- Experience with C#, Java, or Python
- Familiarity with agile practices (TDD, CI/CD, architecture) and working independently
- Ability to articulate the value of work in larger projects and evolving requirements
- Comfort with feedback, collaboration, and cross-team communication
