Overview
In this role you join a Cardiff-based Banking & Finance team to support major lenders across a range of funding deals. You will collaborate with corporate and property groups to handle complex transactions and prepare facility documents. You engage directly with clients and coordinate with overseas counsel, contributing to a growing practice. This is an opportunity to deepen expertise in banking law and deal execution within a supportive, diverse firm culture.
Responsibilities
- Support major lenders across funding transactions and collaborate with corporate and property teams
- Advise on acquisition finance, property finance, asset-based lending, restructuring and refinancing
- Prepare and negotiate facility agreements and related documentation
- Be actively involved in transactions, client meetings, and coordination with overseas counsel
Key requirements
- At least 2 years’ PQE in Banking/Finance
- Strong knowledge of banking law
- Excellent drafting and negotiation skills
- Commercial awareness
