Overview

In this role you will help clients transform manufacturing operations through automation and digital technologies. You will design and implement smart factory solutions, partnering with cross-functional teams to drive efficiency and modernization of plant and infrastructure. You will engage in scoping, design, testing and support, shaping offerings and client journeys with a bias for value-led outcomes. This is a hands-on, collaborative position that blends technology, process and people to deliver tangible improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Help clients target and deliver value through digital transformation of factory/plant/infrastructure operations
  • Shape, sell and deliver projects, assess current state, identify efficiency opportunities, and contribute to business cases and journey plans
  • Design application technology solutions for future operating models and processes
  • Use digital technologies to enable future-state business capabilities and drive targeted outcomes
  • Develop enduring relationships and provide coaching and career development within Industry X
  • Provide insights on industry challenges and technology trends to motivate change
  • Contribute to the development of offerings and sales collateral to support origination and execution
  • Support the sales process from origination to closing, including proposal shaping and client presentations
  • Lead and facilitate client workshops with a human-centered, collaborative approach
  • Work across lifecycle from scoping to implementation, testing and support
  • Collaborate with technology and consulting colleagues across Manufacturing and Operations domain

Key requirements

  • Hands-on process/technology practitioner with design and implementation experience
  • Experience in Discrete or Process Manufacturing environments
  • Ability to assess strategy, operating vision, imperatives and capabilities
  • Knowledge of digital technologies for shop floor operations
  • Awareness of end-to-end solution design including integration and security across edge, on-premise and cloud
  • Ability to estimate technology and implementation costs and effort using experience and Accenture tools
  • Knowledge/experience in Robotics and Automation, MES/MOM, EAM/CMMS, plant automation and control systems, IIoT platforms
  • Familiarity with industries such as Energy, Utilities, Chemicals, Consumer goods, Aerospace & Defence
  • Excellent collaboration and stakeholder management skills
