Overview
In this placement, you will support the Used Cars team to develop and implement BMW Group Used Car strategies that boost profitability and retailer opportunities. You’ll analyze trends, manage project workstreams, and assist with budgets while collaborating across BMW Group departments. This is a hands-on role that lets you contribute from day one and learn by doing in a global automotive context. You’ll shape initiatives that improve retailer growth and customer engagement with a cross-functional team.

Responsibilities
- Support analysis, development and implementation of the BMW Group Used Car strategy to ensure it is sustainable, profitable and engaging to Retailers and Customers
- Assist with organisation, prioritisation and management of BMW Group Used Car key projects to increase opportunities for Retailer Growth
- Research industry and competitor trends along with analysing internal programmes and data to provide Used Car Team with insights and considerations for future initiatives
- Support Used Car Development Manager with raising and reconciling operational budgets to fund projects and suppliers
- Support with evaluating and developing Used Car programmes such as Audits, Mystery Shops, AUC standards and many more exciting projects to come
- Work with other departments across the BMW Group to understand the full scope of a global vehicle manufacturer
Key requirements
- Undergraduate degree with predicted grade 2:1 or above
- Analytical mind
- Great communicator, both verbally and written
- Good numerical skills
- Keen eye for detail
